So it’s that time of the year again. The wonderous award shows and the astounding awards pomp and circumstance. Hooray. While it certainly isn’t the Oscars, it’s time for the awards that reward the deskchair journalists writing about what they love & hate.
If you’re anything like me you also use the Bloggieâ„¢ nominations as a time to clean up all of your myriad RSS feed aggregators. I usually star the year with 4-5 blogs and sites nicely aggregated into one of the 3 apps/sites I can’t ever decide between and then as time passes that bloats up to a nice easy to read 23 or 24 different feeds. The best part of cleaning my virtual bookshelves is I have room for all the great new blogs I’d never heard of before seeing them on the nominations or finalist lists.
As I cleaned through blogs that I don’t read as often or aren’t posted to as often anymore I took nice notes and then cast my nominations for the 2006 Bloggiesâ„¢. Blog of the year gets 2 passes to SXSW!
