Repost from Boing Boing: Confused lawyers threaten Neil Gaiman. Apparently the company that controls the rights to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is trying to sue Neil Gaiman for having a link to their website even though he didnt. I feel bad for Neil Gaiman.
I’m reposting this because lawyers are idiots when it comes to copyright and technology and should be taken out and shot. This particular law firm “Branfman & Associates” also have a horribly designed website and feature music with no ability to pause/stop or otherwise cease the incessant noise (it’s an ok song actually but really “jazzing up” a website means making it pretty NOT actually adding jazz.
