			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My oldest son Alexandr LOVES strawberries. I love baking, so for my visit with he and his brother for Father&#8217;s Day I decided to make a simpler version of my <a title="Ultimate Strawberry Banana Bread" href="http://cdcstudios.com/2009/04/10/chocolate-strawberry-banana-bread/">Chocolate Strawberry Banana Bread</a> that was just tasty organic fresh strawberries in a fluffy tasty bread.</p>
<p>With a cooking time of just 65-70 minutes this is an easy bread to start right before you cook dinner so you can have a perfect dessert piping hot right when you&#8217;re ready for it!<br />
yield makes 6 small loaves or 2 large loaves</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1 teaspoon baking soda</li>
<li>1 teaspoon salt</li>
<li>1 teaspoon ground cinnamon</li>
<li>1 teaspoon vanilla</li>
<li>2 cups sugar</li>
<li>4 eggs, beaten</li>
<li>1 cup cooking oil</li>
<li>2 1/2 cups sliced strawberries</li>
<li>3 cups flour</li>
<li>1/4 cup buttermilk</li>
<li>2 tablespoons powdered sugar</li>
<li>1/4 teaspoon nutmeg</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Directions</strong><br />
1. Preheat oven to 350F. coat inside of loaf pans with shortening or butter. Set aside.<br />
2. Mix all ingredients except berries together in a mixer until well mixed (2-3 minutes).<br />
3. Lightly toss strawberries in a mixture of flour (2-3 tablespoons), powdered sugar and cinnamon<br />
4. Mix in berries with batter.<br />
5. Place the batter in the prepared pans. Bake 35 to 45 minutes for small loaf pans or about 65 minutes for large loaf pans. Cool 10 to 15 minutes before removing from pan.</p>
<p>Let cool another 15-30 minutes before slicing. Serve with thinly sliced strawberries and butter.For an extra kick of tastiness serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I&#8217;ve been meaning to write a cookbook for awhile but always seem to have work, distractions or other ideas crop up before the chance. Well that&#8217;s slowly changing now. I have broken ground on my cookbook and to celebrate I&#8217;m sharing the very first recipe in the book with everyone who reads my little blog.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s interchangeable as a sugarfree recipe too so read it, try it and enjoy the tastiness below.</p>
<div><strong>Chocolate Strawberry Banana Bread</strong>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1 cup brown sugar</li>
<li>8 tablespoons (1 stick) salted butter, room temperature</li>
<li>2 large eggs</li>
<li>2 bananas</li>
<li>10 large ripe strawberries</li>
<li>1 tablespoon milk</li>
<li>1 teaspoon ground cinnamon</li>
<li>2 cups all-purpose flour</li>
<li>1 teaspoon baking powder</li>
<li>1 teaspoon baking soda</li>
<li>2 squares Hershey&#8217;s baking chocolate</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>Directions</strong></div>
<div>
<ol>
<li>Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Butter a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.</li>
<li>Mix the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time thoroughly beating until mixed.</li>
<li>In a food processor add in the strawberries and a pinch of nutmeg (optional). Mix lightly until all strawberries are chopped.</li>
<li>In a large bowl mash the bananas with a fork. Add in Milk and cinnamon.</li>
<li>Using a microwave safe bowl melt the baking chocolate and add it to the banana mixture.</li>
<li>Add in the mixed strawberries to the bananas and stir until fully combined.</li>
<li>In a large measuring cup mix together the flour, baking powder &amp; baking soda.</li>
<li>Add dry ingrediants to fruit mix until flour is fully mixed in.</li>
<li>Pour into loaf pan and bake for an hour and 15 minutes. Check with a toothpick to make sure center is done.</li>
<li>Set aside to cool on a rack for 15 minutes before removing loaf from pan.</li>
<li>Serve with fresh strawberries and butter.</li>
