Plugins
I’ve written a few plugins, either to do things automatically that I’m too lazy to do manually or else to help present information in a better way. Many of my plugins are nowhere near release quality and therefore not listed here.
The plugins that I cleaned up and made ready for prime time usability are however listed below. Enjoy them and feel free to modify/tweak/improve. Just make sure to mention where you got them.
- iPhone Webclip Manager - Have an iPhone or iPod Touch? Wonder how all those sites have a custom bookmark for the homescreen? Well wonder no more and get your own custom webclip icon quickly and easily.
- MooDash - I’ve been looking at my dashboard and wanting it to be basically remain the same but in a much smaller/manageable way. With the recent release of my moo.fx archive plugin (found here: CDC Clean Archives) I thought it would be handy to have the dashboard use the same functions.
- CDC Clean Archives - This is a quick and hasty hacking of the SRG Clean Archives by Shawn Grimes. I’d been wanting to modify it a bit to allow for collapsing each month to require less scrolling. Currently in this version aside from the months collapsing using the fx.Accordion effect in the Moo.fx libraries it’s precisely the same as Shawn Grimes published plugin.
- MooPost - After writing quite a few moo.fx plugins over the last few weeks I finally sat down earlier and wrote one that was requested by someone on the wordpress forums. After a bit of head scratching as I examined a few different themes to see the best way to do it, I discovered the happiest way that would work with the two default themes (which are usually the 2 that people base their own themes off of and also used almost moreso than any other).
- WPMU Livejournal Crossposter - I found this plugin for the standard wordpress install: http://ebroder.net/livejournal-crossposter. Which almost worked straight out of the box with wpmu 1.0. After removing a single line (commented out the line referencing the template-functions-links.php file, which doesn't exist in wpmu).
