I found this plugin for the standard wordpress install:

Which almost worked straight out of the box with wpmu 1.0. After removing a single line (commented out the line referencing the template-functions-links.php file, which doesn’t exist in wpmu).

I’ve tested it over on Dreamflicks.com and so far it works without a hitch. It’s even kind enough to add a disclaimer at the top of the post on Livejournal stating it was originally posted on your wordpress blog (complete with permalink back).

It also will update any posts that are crossposted and can even go back and repost every post already posted.

The original author linked above wrote an amazing plugin and by my usage of “//” it will work with wpmu. Anyways enjoy the plugin for your wpmu install.
